Can you say Rugged? (w/ a capital R)
I bought this strap for my duffel bag for a trip to europe and I can confidently say that the strap will outlast my eastpak duffel bag. Sure metal clips, comfortable pad, and extremely rugged design & materials make for the perfect shoulder strap.I would use this thing as a seatbelt. Period. It will not break.

Just what I needed
This is a replacement strap for my messenger bag. Or as my wife calls it my man purse or murse. It is just what I needed: there is a rough grip material that is on the under side of the padded section so there is no more sliding off my shoulder. The same section is curved so that it 'fits' over the shoulder. The length is adjustable enough to allow for a sling over or over the head use.

Purchased one, then ordered five more
I originally purchased one of these as a replacement strap for my camera bag full of expensive gear. I needed something strong, reliable, and comfortable. This is the end-all for shoulder straps. Pad is comfortable and will not slip. The clips are METAL and secure...carry your load with confidence. Overall build quality is well above average. Within two days of receiving the original order, I purchased 5 more to replace all my shoulder straps for tool bags, luggage, and camera equipment...its that good!

Dimensions
This is a roomy bag with an outside pocket which you can unzip at the bottom to slide over a rolling luggage handle. I have not yet used it, but I wanted to provide the dimensions, since there are none listed: 13"W x 12"T x 7"D and 16 ounces.

Love it!
I originally got the Berlin bag as an early "mother's day" gift from my sister and mom and really liked that bag but I found it a little too big. This bag is the *perfect* size for me. The pictures do not do it justice. The bag has two long narrow open pockets on each side which is perfect for sunglasses in a case. Also the front pocket is amazing. In the product picture you can see a very small zipper then a larger pocket behind it. That 2nd larger pocket is accordion like in that it opens nicely and has several smaller open pockets inside it including a built in credit card organizer that separates 3 credit cards. The inside of the next size pocket has a spot for pens and a cell phone. The largest pocket has several smaller compartments in it for organization. The strap is sturdy and easy to adjust. The bag is very well made and strong. The zippers are easy to open and the contrast of colors from the dark outside to the light inside makes finding items that much easier...

Does the job with high quality
I have to carry a lot of books back and forth to the library each week and large lunch containers to work and got this to look a little more professional than a tote bag or plastic bag. Build quality is great, has a shoulder strap, and enough thoughtful pockets--some magnet, some zipper.Only weaknesses I see: * Snap buttons on both ends to "tie down" the bag come loose too easily; I'm surprised Briggs & Riley missed this * I'm just tall enough to carry this. If you have really long arms or are shorter than 5' 7", I wouldn't recommend this bag Seems like they could take another inch off of the handle length.
