Works great with a verizon iphone 4! UPDATED, AND NOW 4S!
Seems that some AT&T stores have stocked these on their shelves a little earlier than most stores, so I grabbed one and put it on my iphone 4 right away. (Verizon iPhone 4, not 4S)As far as form and fit goes, it's really similar to the current iphone 4 defender series, the major differences are the cut outs for the front and the back. Also to make note, these cases work on ALL models of the iPhone, whether you have a sprint, verizon, or AT&T model, they'll all work.Otterbox's old defender series didnt properly work with the white iphone 4 due to the location change of the proximity sensor. People would be dialing with their cheek, ear, face, etc because the screen wouldnt shut off. Now with the larger cut out, otterbox has fixed this issue and made the case truly work with all models of the iphone 4/4S, both white and black.Otterbox has also changed the rear camera opening to be one huge opening. Nice upgrade from the original iPhone 4 Defender case
I used the original Otterbox Defender case for my iPhone 4s, and while it worked ok, this version is a definite improvement. The hard plastic case and the screen protector seem to be the same as the original, other than having larger cut outs for the camera/flash and the front camera/light sensor/proximity sensor area. I never had issues using the 4s camera with the older version case, but I did with the proximity sensor and this case fixes that issue.The holster has been changed to update the release mechanism. The tab that holds the phone in the holster has been shaped differently in order to make the phone easier to clip in and release.The biggest upgrade is to the rubber jacket that fits over the plastic case. The rubber seems to be of much higher quality. It has a firmer, more substantial feel, and doesn't seem like it will lose shape over time. Good Bag
This bag arrived ontime and in good shape. It's bigger than you would think. Considering that its a waterproof bag, the opening of it does not have a waterproof seal. I dont need a totally waterproof bag, but be warned. The bag looks nice and its comfortable.

Good, but not great
I bought this for wet canyoneering (descending canyons) in Utah.Pros: Very comfortable, nice looking, and mostly waterproof (easily sufficient for most activities like boating or hiking, but make sure it is tightly rolled if completely submerging- I would still use individual dry bags for important things like cameras).Cons: NOT abrasion resistant (the bottom quickly sprouted several holes after just 30 minutes of scrambling down a boulder filled creek, with the bottom occasionally rubbing). And there goes any waterproofness.The manufacturer gave ZERO comment or reply when contacted about this and offered suggestions for improvement.

Superb
I have had the backpack for about 3 years and all I can say is it is very close to perfection. I had done a lot of research prior to buying it and it paid off. The combination of features it truely unique. The material is very sturdy and looks like new even after 3 years of daily use. I had read a lot of reviews about other nicely looking backpacks which were unusable after 6 months due to cheap (but beautiful) material. The laptop compartment has protection on _all_ sides including the bottom. My IBM T41 fits easily. The backpack is big but doesn't look like you are about to go mountain hiking - there is plenty of room for books, folders, lunch box etc. Cell phone pocket is a nice touch. There is a belt you can fasten if you have to run to catch a bus or a train. I only have two minor complaints. I wish it had better organizer for pencils, calculators etc - the one it has consists of 3 basic pencil holders which are not able to hold anything thinner than half an inch and two big mesh...

Excellent piece of equipment
The Mobile Edge Premium Backpack is quite possibly one of the finest packs that have ever graced my shoulders. However, when I received the pack the color was not what I had in visioned. I bartered my pack to one of my close friends and immediately bought the exact same pack except in black/silver. Call me picky, call me OCD, it just seemed to suite her better than myself ;-). I will try to highlight all the points which sold me on this product, along with the discrepancies I find with the pack. Let's begin with the appearance.The pack is by no means a small backpack. It appears large because is capable on carrying a 17" laptop with accessories and a couple of college level text books. Excellent Backpack for 17" screen laptops
This backpack fits my Dell XPS Gen2 like a glove and also has plenty of space for other peripherals and/or books. Excellent style and functionality. Very comfortable even with the bag containing my laptop and textbooks. Definitely get this if you are planning on getting a large laptop!

Roomy, well thought out.
Works great for getting a laptop, files and a short trips' clothes in one convenient package. I usually carry alot of paperwork/files to go with my laptop and this case has some serious room. It is heavy and coupled with a 17" laptop is very heavy but the wheels work fine and the shoulder strap works good as well. Nice low key look that does not attract attention screeming, "hey there's a laptop in here, steal me!"This was bought to replace a very expensive LowePro backpack that had massive zipper failure because of being overloaded. The new Targus case is not even remotely close to being full with the same amount of gear. It still looks empty as a matter of fact. Decided to go back to Targus after the Lowepro because of a very positive experience with a Targus laptop backpack with a 15" computer. Definitely a keeper!Details:I bought this particular bag because it had the biggest dimensions. I'm taking 4 college classes and three of them are back to back without time to go back to my car in between. This bag is big enough to fit all of my things.In the main pocket I regularly put 3 spiral notebooks (about 3/4" each), 3 textbooks (3/4"-1.5"), 3 smaller books (1" total), and 4 folders (1" total). It still has room for either my wallet (a monster thing at about 3"x4"x6") or another 1" textbook.The computer pocket is well-padded. It easily fits my 17" laptop. It has a padded divider that velcros in place to set the horizontal width. I wish there was something a little better
This box is fairly good overall but it has a couple major irratating factors that may well be a buying point for many of you so I wanted to talk about a couple things that don't get mentioned very often.+ Great Protection and pretty much the best case if you want ideal protection for your iphone 4s from drops on the concrete / outdoor working environment. That's why i got it.- The screen cover is a thin layer of plastic that when sitting on top of the iphone creates a 'film' illusion where if you have good vision you will see a hazy layer. I think it's because there is a small space between the case's layer of plastic and the iphone's face that bends the light. Its quite annoying to me. I would prefer no plastic at all on the screen front and use a stick on clear protector over the iphone face.- The headphone jack is closed by a plastic piece that lifts up but it's annoying to have to fiddle with it to put in headphones.- The case...
